Racquetball

Racquetball is played in a rectangular closed court. It was invented in 1949 in the United States by Joe Sobek, who wanted to create a sport similar to tennis that was easy to learn. Racquetball can be played singles or doubles. The ball must be hit before the second bounce on the floor and can touch all walls, but must touch the front wall before touching the floor.

The objective is to serve or return the call that the opponent cannot keep it in play. It is played in 2 sets of 15 points. If there is a tie, a third set of 11 points determines the winner. Racquetball was included in the pan-American games in 1995, and there now 17 million players in more than 70 countries.
